Fraternity is to prepare and encourage collegiate men of good character,
high ethics, and noble ideas to contribute positively to the world in which
they live.
The mission of Lambda Chi Alpha
Fraternity is to offer the best fraternal experience, focusing on personal
character development through leadership, scholarship, community service, and
positive social experiences.
CURRENT STATISTICS
MEMBERSHIP More than
243,000 initiated members, more than 206,200 living alumni
CHAPTER ROLL 210
active chapters and colonies in 45 states and three Canadian provinces
LEADERSHIP Over 3,500
members have taken part in corporate-style leadership training, Impact Leadership,
at chapters, regional, and international conferences to date.
SCHOLARSHIP Lambda
Chi Alpha Educational Foundation offers $138,000 in scholarships to
undergraduate and graduate members in 2001-2002.
COMMUNITY SERVICE The
North American Food Drive, Lambda Chi Alphas international philanthropic
project, collected more than 2.9 million pounds of food in 2001 and more than
10 million pounds since 1993.
MENTOR PROGRAM During
the summer of 2001, Lambda Chi Alpha unveiled its Mentor Leadership
program to assist graduates in crossing that bridge from academia to the work
force. The program pairs an alumnus who
has been in the work force for six years or more with recent graduates in
related fields.
POSITIVE SOCIAL EXPERIENCES
Thousands of Lambda Chi Alpha members, undergraduate and
alumni across the continent, continue to receive a premier fraternal
experience.
