Awarded the Tozier Brown Public Affairs Award - Outstanding Community Service Project - by the General Fraternity at the General Assembly in Indianapolis, Indiana.
1996
- Awarded the Largest Delegation Award at the Dixie Leadership Conclave in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
- The chapter had the third largest collection of food of all Lambda Chi chapters in the North American Food Drive with a total of 34,002 lbs. collected.
1997
The chapter had the second largest collection of food of all Lambda Chi chapters in the North American Food Drive with a total of 79,087 lbs. collected.
1999
- The chapter received a Recruitment Award for outstanding recruitment efforts and programming at the Leadership Seminar in Bowling Green, Ohio.
- The chapter had the 11th largest collection of all Lambda Chi chapters in the North American Food Drive with a total of 53,962 lbs of food collected.
2000
The chapter had the 3rd largest collection of all Lambda Chi chapters in the North American Food Drive with a total of 135,600 lbs of food collected.
2001
The chapter had the 5th largest collection of all Lambda Chi chapters in the North American Food Drive with a total of 133,232 lbs of food collected.
2002
The chapter had the 18th largest collection of all Lambda Chi chapters in the North American Food Drive with a total of 47,635 lbs of food collected.

Dr. William O. "Bill"
Nowell, Jr.
Served as both the chapter advisor and house corporation president for Phi-Kappa Zeta for several years.
Received the General Fraternity's Order of Merit (the highest award that Lambda Chi Alpha bestows on an alumnus) at the 1994 General Assembly in Indianapolis.
Recently retired from the AUM faculty.
